Enjoy the latest exhibits and walk the trails of the largest urban forest in the state of Indiana.

Morning Bird Watches, Wesselman Woods Nature Preserve, 551 N Boeke Rd. & Angel Mounds State Historic Site, 8215 Pollack Ave.
Enjoy the diversity of Southwestern Indiana’s native bird populations on these tours led by representatives of the Audubon Society.

Angel Mounds State Historic Site Events, Angel Mounds State Historic Site, 8215 Pollack Ave.
Enjoy displays and talk with experts from the Indiana Department of Natural Resources. Those divisions represented will be Fish and Wildlife, Soil Reclamation, Oil and Gas, Museums and Historic Sites, Nature Preserves, Reservoirs and Forestry. Conservation officers will be on hand. Guided tours of the state historic site will be ongoing throughout the day.

Canoe Evansville Canoe Trip, Heidelbach Canoe Launch, end of Heidelbach Ave., north of Diamond Ave. $10 per person.
Partake of this 1-1⁄2 hour canoe trip down the beautiful Pigeon Creek and experience the diverse ecological wonders of the scenic waterway. Register at the ECO Tour Headquarters at the Pagoda or meet at the Heidelbach canoe launch 30 minutes prior to launching. Space is limited so register early!
